Gdańsk & Pomerania Photography Workshop

June 1 to 7, 2026

Gdańsk and the wider Pomerania region offer a photography experience with unusual variety, where historic streets, industrial heritage, Baltic coastal life, and striking landscapes all come together in one workshop. Over seven days, participants have the chance to photograph the beautiful old town of Gdańsk, the historic shipyard, Malbork Castle, fishing villages, beaches along the Baltic coast, and the shifting dunes of Słowiński National Park. The workshop runs from early morning to late evening and includes opportunities for architecture, street photography, documentary work, landscape photography, and night photography.

It is a strong fit for photographers who want both visual variety and a more story-driven approach to image-making, while working in a small group with close guidance in the field.

This workshop is not only about photographing a visually rich part of Poland, but also about understanding the layers that have shaped it. As we move through Gdańsk and the wider Pomerania region, we will work in places where history, identity, and daily life are closely connected. From the city’s architecture and waterfront areas to shipyards, coastal communities, and historic landmarks, participants will photograph a region that tells an important story about Poland’s past and present.

Through this mix of locations and subjects, the workshop offers more than visual variety. It gives participants the chance to build stronger skills in composition, observation, and storytelling, while also gaining a deeper sense of place. With a small group and close guidance in the field, the focus is on learning through practice and creating images that feel both personal and meaningful.
