 Workshop Details

  • Dates: August 2–8, 2026

  • Location: Nordland, Northern Norway (starting/ending in Bodø)

    Price: $2,500 per person

    Includes

  • Seven days and six nights of on-location photography training in Northern Norway

  • Two instructors working closely with the group each day

  • Maximum 12 participants for a personal, hands-on experience

  • Focus on extraordinary and less-photographed locations such as Marmorslottet, Láhko National Park, and Svartisen, plus coastal scenes around Gildeskål

  • A structured daily plan built around the best light, with sunrise and sunset sessions when conditions allow, and midday breaks for rest or review

  • Two follow-up online sessions to refine your images and strengthen your portfolio

  • Access to a private WhatsApp group months in advance for travel tips, gear advice, and sharing work

    Payment plan

  • $500 deposit paid at registration

  • The remaining balance will be invoiced about one month before the workshop begins

Accommodation (Northern Norway / Nordland)

For this workshop, we stay in a small set of well-located hotels in Mo i Rana, Saltdal (Storjord), and Glomfjord. We use more than one base so we can stay close to the areas we’re photographing and avoid unnecessary driving.

All accommodation is arranged and booked by us so the group stays together and logistics stay smooth. Accommodation is invoiced separately from the workshop fee.

Each place is chosen for:

  • Comfortable, reliable lodging

  • Easy morning starts (good access to our planned routes and shooting areas)

  • Practical logistics as we move between key locations during the week

Where we stay

  • Night 1 (Mo i Rana): Scandic Meyergården – a comfortable first-night base after our travel day, setting us up well for an early start the next morning.

  • Night 2 (Saltdal): Storjord Hotel – a unique, characterful stay close to key landscapes in the area. Breakfast and dinner (with dessert) are included here.

  • Nights 3–6 (Glomfjord): Glomfjord Hotell – our main base for the core workshop days, with good access for trips to Láhko and Svartisen. Breakfast is included.

We reserve rooms in advance to secure availability and keep the group together during the summer season. Accommodation details (room types and pricing) are shared when you confirm your place.
