  • Dates: April 13–19, 2027 (7 days / 6 nights)

  • Location: Vardø, Northern Norway (Arctic Wildlife)

  • Base: Vardø Hotel

  • Arrival & departure:  Vardø Airport (VAW)

  • Price: $4,900 per person

    Deposit today: $600. Remaining balance invoiced about one month before the workshop begins.

    Includes:

  • Seven days and six nights of on-location wildlife photography training in Northern Norway

  • Two instructors working closely with the group each day

  • Maximum 12 participants for a personal, hands-on experience (max 6 per instructor)

  • Transport throughout the workshop in comfortable vans, giving easy access to our shooting locations. All transport is handled by licensed drivers

  • Focus on puffins and Arctic wildlife photography, plus dramatic coastal landscapes and local scenery

  • Hands-on guidance in the field (settings, focus technique, composition, and working with fast-changing conditions)

  • Optional image reviews and Lightroom Classic sessions during the week

  • Access to a private WhatsApp group well in advance for travel tips, gear advice, and sharing work

Accommodation:

For this workshop, we use Vardø Hotel as our base for the full stay.

This location is chosen for:

  • Comfortable, high-quality lodging

  • Great access to key wildlife and coastal shooting areas

  • Simple logistics with one central base

Breakfast is included every day.

We will also arrange a group dinner for everyone each evening (dinner cost not included).

Not included:

  • Flights to/from Vardø Airport (VAW)

  • Lunch and dinner (we’ll coordinate group dinners, but meals are paid individually)

  • Personal travel insurance (required)

  • Alcohol, snacks, and personal purchases

  • $600 deposit is paid at registration
