Paris Photography Workshop
September 25 – 30, 2026 (6 Days / 5 Nights)
Paris in early autumn has a special kind of atmosphere: warm golden light, long evenings along the Seine, and a city settling into a calmer rhythm after the summer peak. The trees begin to turn, café terraces fill with locals again, and the soft September glow makes the city’s architecture and streets incredibly photogenic. This workshop is your opportunity to experience Paris at one of its most beautiful times of year — and to create a portfolio of images that capture both its icons and its quieter charm.
What makes this workshop different is our commitment to you. We don’t take groups to a viewpoint and then focus on shooting our own images. Our attention is on your growth — with one-to-one coaching in the field, hands-on demonstrations, and personal support throughout every session.
Our goal is simple: that you return home not just inspired by Paris, but with photographs you’re genuinely proud of.
We’ll balance sunrise and sunset shoots at the city’s classic spots with focused street photography sessions in lively neighborhoods — from Montmartre’s artistic stairways to the markets and side streets of Le Marais. After the workshop, we’ll reconnect online for two exclusive post-processing sessions to help you refine your strongest images and further develop your personal style.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN AT THE WORKSHOP
Building strong, intentional cityscape compositions
Developing timing and confidence in street photography
Working with morning, evening, and available light
Approaching scenes with a clear visual strategy
Capturing both iconic Paris landmarks and quieter, unexpected moments
Creating a cohesive set of images with guidance from two instructors
Using long exposures for evening and blue-hour shots
Day 1 (September 25):
Arrival & Sunset on the Seine
Your first glimpse of Paris — where golden light meets the river and cameras come alive.
Arrival, welcome, and introductions at the hotel. The workshop starts at 3 PM, giving everyone time to settle in before we head out.
Late afternoon: a guided walk along the Seine to warm up the cameras — Pont Neuf, Pont des Arts, and views of Notre Dame. Perfect for mixing cityscapes with candid street moments.
Group dinner at a Parisian bistro, setting the tone for the week ahead.
Day 2 (September 26):
Eiffel Tower Sunrise & Street Life
We chase morning light over the city’s rooftops, then dive into the rhythm of Parisian streets.
Sunrise at Trocadéro & Avenue de Camoëns — iconic Eiffel Tower views with soft morning light.
After breakfast: street photography session in Île de la Cité, capturing daily life, flower markets, and riverside moments.
Afternoon downtime or optional editing review.
Day 3 (September 27):
Montmartre Charm
From quiet courtyards to lively stairways, discover Paris through the eyes of its artists.
Sunrise at the Louvre courtyards, exploring symmetry, long shadows, and quiet morning atmosphere.
Daytime: guided exploration of Montmartre — Rue Foyatier’s stairways, La Maison Rose café, street artists at Place du Tertre. Focus on candid portraits and storytelling.
Sunset at Sacré-Cœur, capturing panoramic views over Paris as the city lights start to glow.
Day 4 (September 28):
Hidden Paris & Eiffel Views
We wander off the beaten path, finding light, lines, and stories behind Paris’s elegant façades.
Sunrise at Place Vendôme or Palais Royal — elegant architecture and morning light play.
Late morning: street photography in Le Marais — boutique-lined streets, café culture, and historic courtyards.
Sunset at Bir-Hakeim Bridge, framing the Eiffel Tower through steel arches for dramatic compositions.
Day 5 (September 29):
Markets, Showcase & Farewell Evening
A day of color, community, and reflection — celebrating images and friendships made along the way.
Morning at Rue Mouffetard street market, practicing dynamic street photography — vendors, colors, and everyday Parisian life.
Afternoon: group showcase session with feedback and discussion. Each participant shares favorite images and lessons learned.
Evening: final rooftop or Seine-side shoot, followed by a farewell dinner at a classic Parisian restaurant.
Day 6 (September 30):
Final Sunrise & Departure
Our last dawn in Paris — one more chance to capture the city waking up in golden light.
Optional sunrise at Pont Alexandre III, with sweeping views of the Seine and the city skyline.
Return to hotel for breakfast and goodbyes. The workshop ends at 12 PM, giving everyone time to pack up and head out at their own pace.
Ambitions & Goals
This workshop is about your growth and your images. Many photo tours emphasize being at the right location at the right time — but then the instructors often focus on taking their own shots. Our philosophy is different. We’re there to guide you personally, whether that means:
fine-tuning your composition on the spot,
helping you master camera settings in tricky light, or
offering constructive feedback as you work.
With a small-group format (maximum six participants per instructor), you’ll receive close personal attention and one-to-one coaching every day. The aim is for every participant to return home with portfolio-worthy photographs and new confidence in their skills.
Equally important is the community: the workshop is a shared learning and inspiration experience. You’ll not only improve your photography, but also enjoy the camaraderie of shooting and dining together in one of the world’s most photogenic cities
